I had read on the forum a few days ago that there was a bug with the iPhone that had gotten better BUT still existed which is when people are listening to music and surfing the web at the same time the iPod tends to crash along with Safari a few seconds after. I was having this problem so I called the tech support to see if it was "normal" or if a fix was coming out for the bug. They informed me that I should send the phone in to see if they could fix it.

After the phone was sent in and returned to me, to my surprise, they gave me a NEW/Refurbished iPhone. So if anyone out there is still having the same problem often go ahead and have the phone sent in and you might get the same results.

Just some FYI.

and how is ipod/safari now that your iphone was sent in? did it fix the problem? I don't know how they could fix it because it is a software problem.

actually i read that its more of a memory problem. When you run out of memory from using both ipod/ safari at same time iPhone closes one of the apps to restore memory.

So either
A. They fixed the software for better memory usage
B. They added more memory to the new iPhone he got? (doubt it)
