I'm currently bored out of my mind in my off-time, so I began pecking away at my keyboard and in no time I had just over two-thousand words before me.

The direction it is going, currently, is journaling my transition to the MacOS and explaining in detail why a mac is better for me. The only person in the world that may ever read it is likely myself, however I would like to get an opinion on my prefacing synopsis.

I have no intention of publishing it, I'm being realistic. Though I would like to eventually circulate it completely free, if there is are willing test subj, er, I mean a willing audience.

Download and enjoy!

Due to the four embedded images (it's an eight-page PDF) it is about 100k too large to upload to MacRumors.

I may throw in some Project Gutenberg material of every genre to broaden the range of tastes.

Not bad, nice that you didn't have to deal with PPC like I did.it was fine for like the first month, but after that,I needed some stuff only Intel could provide.
So what was your first Mac?MBP? Or like high end MB?

Thanks.

My first mac was the MacBook I bought from BestBuy for $1,299. It was the white 2.4ghz model. I traded that in about two weeks later for the aluminum MacBook 2.4ghz. That was later replaced by Apple for a 2.53ghz MacBook Pro, and this one is a keeper, nothing at all that would make me want to upgrade to something else. I may hold onto it for five years as my main and perhaps even ten years as just...my other.

The second draft is now posted. I did not zip this one because, somehow, this is much smaller than the last.

Nothing drastic was changed, merely some formatting.

At this point, through my second chapter, I'm now determined to have this work distributed across the net. It's a journal, merely an extensive blog-post, in my opinion, and would solely make for a "good read" on a long flight or coffee break. I'd feel fulfilled if I could provide, for at least one person, some decent, free, reading material.
