Trying to delete a contact in my phone and I’m getting this error.

Anyone else?

My contacts are synced with google.

What happens when you delete the contact from contacts.google.com? If there’s a similar issue there, it’s on Google’s end.

I deleted right from google no problems. It was just on the phone it wouldn’t delete. It’s the only contact that does this.

Are you sure it’s not a contact on SIM card ?

Judging from what I can read in the background of the screenshot, that's a "Siri found in Mail" contact that is being added automatically.

To disable this, go to Settings -> Siri & Search -> Mail and disable "Learn from this app".
