Can someone please post the Read and Write speeds of the stock internal 1TB drive in any of the 2012 minis?

Thanks!

I can't get AJA system test to run on mine?! Bizarre, anyone else seeing the same?
the blackmagic design tester gives me around 100MB/s write or read (give or take, it varies slightly depending on the file size it is testing). I have finished setting the machine up (the mid range 2012 mini) but it has little data on it so there is 920GB free

Sound great! My MacBook's HDD only reaches around 55 MB/s read and write (I think it was about 68 when I got it) so it should be quite a bit faster.

If true -- 100MB/s would be an outstanding score... You could try X-bench?

Can you say from disk utility what drive Apple is using?

Thanks!

xbench disk score of 70.91. You can probably work out the manufacture from the drive type?

Quite nice results for sequential read and write. Random reads and writes of course are terrible with HDDs, but without SSDs you can't do anything about this ...

Agreed... not at all bad for what it is!

Samsung 830 on my 2011 MBP for comparison....

Tested with an WD Mybook Essential USB 3.0 with multible 4-10 GB movie files. (copied from internal -> WD USB 3.0) The average speed stabilized arround 100-105 MB/s. with initial peek arround 112-115 MB/s.

I'm was initially a bit concerned... Not any more... I'm happy :D
