I recently installed windows on a FAT32 file system but have found that windows seems to take up twice as much (as its name suggests :D ) as it did on my NTFS PC. I want to reinstall it on NTFS but I'm wondering if there are any apps that can read/write on to it from OS X.

If you really want to write to it, use MacFUSE. I've tried it before, and it works, but it's rather roundabout.

Basically, what you have to do is unmount the NTFS volume then remount it using ntfs-3g. Too much work for me, but maybe it'll be ok for you.
