Reading text size in Mail can’t be made bold in 14.5? — **Fixed in 14.5.1

Curious if anyone else has noticed this: After updating my two iPad Pros and my iPhone 8 Plus to 14.5, I can no longer make the text in the mail reading pane BOLD. When toggling bold on/off in Accessibility, the text in the UI switches back-and-forth, but it doesn’t change the text in the body of Mail messages that I’ve received, as it always has in the past. I guess this is a bug?? Haven’t seen other discussions of this. If I’ve missed something and anyone knows how to fix it, would surely appreciate hearing your comments.

Thanks for confirming — thought I was going nuts. Unclear to me if this is a feature or a bug. If the former, not sure what the purpose might be.
