Ready for Friday

So exicted for this friday coming up! in that I will finally join the ranks and get my first Mac. surprised to find out I can go to the apple store and pick one up instead of ordering online.
Plan on getting the new i5 i Mac with 8 gigs of RAM, which they said they can add to the system in the store before I go home. Kinda nice to make sure that it will work right. Would make me nervous waiting on the machine to come from China or wherever else without breaking.

Do you guys know if they sale the Belkin converter HDMI to MDP in the actual store as well or is the only option to order online?

You know you can save a hundred bucks by buying the RAM from a third-party and installing yourself.

Highly unlikely they will stock it, apple only puts it's most popular products in it's stores, most being cases or software.

Agreed, you're just wasting lots of money by having Apple install your ram. It takes a minute or two and is beyond simple. Unscrew 4 screws on the bottom of the iMac and pop it in.
