Ready to buy NEW 17" MBP... Need a bit of help...

Hello everyone,

I've sold my old PowerBook G4 and have been waiting for this update. I'm now ready to buy the new 17" MBP. Just wanted to know what's everyone's opinion on this update.

Really wanted to know whether this 17" display is a LED-backlit display or not?? and what's the go with HD 1920x1200?? has anyone seen it?? Worth spending on this option??

And one last thing.... the hard drive... should I upgrade to the 7200rpm??

Would really appreciate your help!!

The 17" screen is definitely not LED backlit, only the 15" versions.

Can't answer your other questions, looking for more info on 1900 x 1200 myself, good luck!
