Hey guys.. I was just checking out google news and came across this link:

http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/iPhone/Multiplayer+Championship+Poker/news.asp?c=7694

I am at work and unable to get to it, but in the little description it stated that it had over-the-air multiplayer. I have played Real Dice's games before on my WinMo phone, and it was a decent and addicting game!

So i was wondering if someone would take a look at that site and post any information here. I am wondering if it is multiplayer over 3g?

If its old or completely unrelated, I'm sorry for wasting your time and feel free to flame me.

... well now that I'm home, I had a chance to look at the link. And as expected, it supposedly lets you play people outside of your own network!

If anyone has played this, please let me know if you can play it over 3g. Someone feel free to post a review, as I do not have an touch/iphone yet.

I purchased it last night and yes, you can play others over 3g. It works very well. I found a couple of issues:

1) does not allow you a choice to show/muck, always mucks for you automatically if you don't need to show

2) heads up is weird. standard heads up, dealer should be the small blind and act first preflop (and last post flop) and non dealer should be the big blind and act last pre-flop. However, in this game, the dealer is the big blind and acts last preflop and non dealer is small blind and acts first preflop. It is wrong. I sent them an email and we'll see what happens.

I did find one thing unsual, when signing up for a free account with them, they asked for name and phone number which i found weird. Hopefully they're not out there selling my name and number to some other companies.

Sent them an email regarding point 2 above and they responded within 24 hours to say that I was correct, that heads up was not being handled properly and that they were going to fix it in a new release :)

Now to send'em a change request for point 1 above
