Hi guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads-up of what we've submitted to the AppStore for approval.
We, at Cramzy, found a way to turn on the iPhone 4's built-in flashlight, and keep it on for unlimited time. And we call this a Dazzling Flashlight 4g. It's our latest app.

Any comments, recommendations and so on, are very welcome.

Thank you for your time!

hi................

That's just what I've been looking for! I read it wasn't possible under Apple's guidelines though. I hope they approve it.

not to worry dear....... it will be approve it...... you just happy......

I'm definitely picking this up when it becomes available. I could have used this last night.

You can turn on the flash now at will by going to video record mode and saying to turn on flash. You don't need to record. Only real issue it probably drains faster then just turning on flash, but you have a light.

Any word on this app or any others like it? Are they not getting approved or are they still "in review?"

LED iLight was just rejected because "the app description refereneces a beta version." My description said "feedback from beta testers blah blah" and that got it rejected... After it had been sitting in review for 5 days.

I've made the corrections. The email said I don't need to resubmit my binary, so I'm hopeful it's a small thing and the flip the switch soon.

How long did it sit in "Waiting for Review" status?

The section you quoted said, "After it had been sitting in review for 5 days." Sigh.

Maybe you should actually read before you post. I asked about "Waiting for Review", not "In Review". Two completely different statuses.

People in this forum need to chill out and stop jumping all over people's posts here.

ANYWAY, thanks OP for answering!

I don't get it. You can already turn on the flash for an indefinite period of time via the video mode...why do we need a dedicated application for that?

Ease of use. Having to start up the camera, potentially switch it to video, wait for it to load, then activate the flash is a pain compared to just pressing an application.
