hey all,

I downloaded Real Player 10, installed it, the plugins are in the Internet plugins folder, the browsers are restarted, the computer was restarted....but only safari recognizes that the plugin is installed. Firefox and Mozilla don't. What's going on?

sps

If Safari recognizes the plugin, then you know that it is properly installed and works properly. The problem lies with Firefox and Mozilla. It appears that Gecko-based browsers are incompatible with the Real plug-in. You may try to install the Java plug-in that allows Mozilla to use Apple's Java virtual machine instead the POS JVM from Symantec. If this doesn't work then write a nasty letter to Mozilla
