Hey all,

I want to say thanks to the members on MR for the help with BETA I and II and too mention that Real Shuffleboard is now on the app store and $0.99 for a limited time. If you have any suggestions, or comments on the game please let me know.

i bought your app, and i am a little disappointed, although i think you can definitely make it great. here are my questions/suggestions:

1. i may not know the rules totally, but i am always red when playing the computer, and i always have to go first. i thought you rotated what color went first each round. always going first seems like a disadvantage.

2. it is still very hard to get a hang of how to slide the puck, it seems to either go too hard or too soft. maybe make the sensitivity so that it can be one of the options in the app itself

3. you should be able to resume a game if you have to leave the app in the middle of the game, or at least save and load later

hope this helps. like i said, i do like where you are going with this, i just don't think you are quite there just yet.

1. That is absolutely correct. The next update will fix what we broke, that was previously already there :( Basically, this was a bug after we fixed another thing - but yes, we do realize the advantage is always the last puck to shoot.

2. if you're playing 1.0.2, the shooting is as good as it's going to get. The whole point of shuffleboard is that it takes practice to get good, much like darts. 1.0.2 is MUCH easier to shoot than 1.0, and with a little practice you'll be winning most of the games you play. Remember, finger under the puck and slide through smoothly.

3. We're almost finished with saving "state", i.e. saving game data. So don't worry, these issues and more will be addressed within the next 2 updates.

BTW: 1.0.3 will be finished in the next few days, in this update the state of the game (all game data) will be saved if you back out of an app, and the win/loss counter that keeps track of your wins/losses and total winning percentage will be available.
