Hi!

I’m using Apple Watch S3 Nike Edition for running and I’m seeing my heart rate but looks like it’s not in real time; looks like the system is taking some time to update the info in the display. Is there a way to see the real time info?

Also. What about VO2? My wife is using a cheaper Garmin watch and it’s showing VO2 and I couldn’t get that info on my S3. :-(

Which running app are you using? I tend to find that the stock workout app gets the HR information quicker.

As for VO2max, it shows up regularly using the stock workout app. I think it was sporadic when using NRC. I've never got it to popluate using iSmoothRun.

Note - it seems as though VO2max only works when using the built-in HR sensor. When using my Bluetooth HR strap (Polar H7) and the stock workout app, it didn't popluate.

Hi!

I tried with NRC and Workout app. So, you think is better to use Workout app?

I use NRC because it has laps. But I prefer to see the real time monitor in the display.

I don't use NRC because it is very buggy. Takes forever to start a run. Crashes often.

I also don't use the stock app because the data is a hassle to export.

I use ismoothrun, because it's solid and reliable, however, I have issues with the HR readings.

As for laps, the stock app does do laps. They call them segments. Just double tap the screen as you complete a lap.
