It seems like the early tests could be somewhat bloated in favor of the i7 due to hyperthreading. I know its faster but some of the geekbench scores are really huge in comparison. Can anyone clear up what a real world type of difference there is. I'm trying to decide between the top 27" i5 and i7 and I just dont know if I'm over thinking it too much. I want this computer to last me several years. I'm upgrading from a 2007 macbook c2d so I guess whichever I pick is going to be a night and day difference.
