We have the Thunderbolt 2 version of this enclosure at work (OWC Thunderbay 4) with 4x 3TB Drives that are about 3 years old in a RAID 5 using about 40% of the capacity. Blackmagic Speed Test results average 298 MB/s Write and 389 MB/s Read.
