yo,
i have a 13 inch macbook pro and recently the command option control and shift symbols show up on my screen when i press the respective keys. if i hit a key twice or hold it down for too long the key is then locked until i hit the key again. i recently wiped my harddrive and re-downloaded my applications and fooled around with my preferences. This is really annoying and i want to get rid of it but i dont know how. does this sound familiar to any applications you have used or has this happened to anyone else, and how do i get rid of it? Here is a picture of what it looks like with the command and shift keys locked (i couldnt do the other 2 because i wouldnt have been able to take the screenshot)

thanks for any answers you can give me

Yeah, I just ran into that today on a client's computer. Some people love the feature, it drives me crazy. Wasn't my computer though, so I didn't turn them off (since it wasn't requested).
