Fellow beta users! Please test this bug for me. I submitted it to Apple already. Listen to music using headphones. Then without pausing the music, unplug your headphones. Then have someone text you. As soon as the text comes in your music will start playing. It even happens if you are on a phone call and then get a text mid-call.

This happened to me multiple times and in circumstances that can be embarrassing (during meetings for example). So far my testing only has it working if you pause the music by unplugging headphones. If I pause the music manually and then unplug headphones then the bug does not present itself.

Post experiences please!!

Does not happen for me.

Was listening to music and unplugged phone. Sent myself a text message from ATTs website and when I received the text I got the standard message ding but no music.

Then I remembered I was listening to Pandora so I started music on the Apple Music app (to see if it was just that app), unplugged the headphones and tried another message, but only got the message ding, and no music started playing.

Have you tried a reboot first and then if still having issues then resetting your setting?

I've actually seen this happen on my iPhone 6 on iOS 8.4. Same replication. I was listening to Beats 1, unplugged headphones as I switched to my Bluetooth headphones on my iPad while cooking and got a text. Beats 1 began to play on my iPhone. It was pretty weird.

Not exactly the same, but if I answer a call using through the inline headphone mic it freezes the pandora app.

Mine is happening now by just unlocking my iPhone. This is the strangest thing
