Is Apple ever going to fix this issue? My wife had her gen 1 watch face pop off and 1 month later my son’s gen 2 faced fell off. The battery issue has to be fixed!! From what I read on forums; gen 1 and 2 have been having this issue, but I was just talking to a friend before my screens fell off and his was starting to come off his gen 3. That’s ridiculous the watches can’t last more then 3 years!! Come on Apple get it together. I lost 2 watch’s within a month of each other.

Pretty sure Apple fix these issues free of charge even if you're out of warranty. Did you try take them to the Apple Store? Happy to be corrected if that isn't the case.

Like stated above, bring it to Apple, if it is in fact from a swollen battery, which has been a known issue, they should replace it for you. Like @keysofanxiety said, keep us posted if something's changed in their policy please.

Apple would have to inspect it first, if they can determine that it’s due to the ‘battery swelling’, then they can likely just issue a replacement watch, they won’t fix this specific issue. What they would have to do, is send your watch to a repair depot, then they would send you a replacement watch in return.

Side note:

Apple does not carry replacement watches in store or conduct any in-store repairs for the Apple Watch.
