Googling you can come up with several "best monitors" lists but with two problems:
a) There's almost no overlap between each of them so it's hard to find a model that is present in more than one list
b) Almost invariably the exact reviewed models are NOT to be found in amazon.it or other vendors here in Italy

So let me ask for your opinions.

I have to bury a dead 27" iMac and am saving to buy a Mac mini. The 27" form factor I like very much.

I mostly use the monitor to read/srite documents and program (studying full stack web development) and occasional but competent use of Lightroom for my Sony/Canon photographs and a rarer use of video editing.
No gaming and no great need of watching videos (have a nice LG OLED TV for those).

So good text clarity, good color reproduction are probably the most important things.

Suggestions?

Thanks a lot

It is good that you noted your use cases. It would also be helpful it you noted your budget as well.

I recently added a BenQ SW2700 to my set up, as my company gave us a work form home stipend. I'm very happy with it.

Good luck whatever you decide.

That looks like a great nice monitor and when I spent a lot more time than today on photoediting I would have strongly considered it. Now on amazon.it it is not available and the photoediting % of my time is much less, plus the gamut is 99% aRGB while I see more modern IPS displays having P3 if I'm not mistaken.
So thanks a lot but wow still well confuzzled :)
