Really slow sync with iTunes

Beach ball, slow sync, really slow, all software up to date, ipad rebooted.
What gives?

I wish it was that easy! I haven't even got around to transferring any music yet, and it's not USB 1.1. I don't know if I've got anything that's USB 1.

I've looked on the apple site, but couldn't find what I was looking for. That's why I'm posting here. On a mac forum. For iPads. Where I thought I might find about a 'bazillion' other iPad users. Who have macs. With iTunes.
