When i was editing my new YouTube video on Windows Movie Maker on my Windows 8 tablet Acer Iconia W700(I5 Core/4GB RAM) and i stupidly kept ignoring the low RAM warning signs telling me to close Movie Maker so when i gone in to full sceen mode everything went completely blank(dark) and nothing was there on the sceen.

So i waited when the battery died and charge it and i tried to boot up the tablet and i saw the Acer logo(and the loading thing) but after it stays on the blank(dark) page, nothing is coming up now, it won't go to the lock sceen and the CPU fan is always going on and off as well, i can't do a single thing on it now. :(. :(

Can someone help me please? and will doing a hard reset get it all back to normal again??? Has the hardrive failed or is it something else??? What happened to it???

This is really really URGENT!!!!!!

a better place
Your computer forced itself into a deep slumber when you let the battery die and it wasn't actually turned off. Now when you turn it on it finds itself neither properly woken or freshly booted either.

You need to force turn it off and turn it back on again, and by the looks of it there are not many easy ways to do this in a w500. The A500 has a pinhole reset button - but in not sure the Acer does.

It looks like your going to have to go through the recovery again if you can't force it to turn off properly and turn on again. The Acer forums would likely be your best bet here.

Your issue is not a 'Windows software' related, more specific to your Acer tablet model and therefore their support site would better find you a resolution than here as the regulars don't have that model and previously we have had to simply Google & copy / paste answers to your problems with this specific tablet, and basically that's all we will be doing again.
