so this has been happening a lot recently...songs for which the album art used to be fine are getting all sorts of weird on my phone only, particularly when coverflow is on...here it is
(all these screenshots are for the SAME song)

so yeah...one minute it's got the right anti-flag artwork, then it's got say anything, then it's got for from finished, then it's god...wait wait don't tell me?
it appears new album art is somewhat overwriting old songs' artwork, for multiple songs not just that one...

any ideas?

I had album artwork get screwy with me once, album covers for a different song were showing up. I just erased all my music and put it back on. I didn't figure out why, I'm thinking it was just I unplugged my phone while the music was syncing and it caused the artwork to be screwy.

I have a problem similar to that. Usually if I have multiple greatest hits cd's they will all combine under one. All of my information is correct and filled out completely so it definitely is a bug. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. However I have never had different artwork appear on my phone than what is on my iTunes.

I would suggest deleting all your artwork & installing the following applescript for your mac, then, using this script to replace your art work, but remember to select all the tracks in your album & then use the "CMD & I" function to get info, then drag the image to your file like so...

The following link is a guide to show you what I mean as I'm bad at explaining things...

Hope this helps.
