Hi,

Initial thoughts: looks great.

However (and in no way is this directed only at you, because I think this everytime anyone posts a logo) there is no context, what is its application? What type of real-estate do they do?

If this is for a high-end real estate company to use on letter heads, I suspect its great, if however its for a council flat renting company to use on the side of thier bright blue transit vans its probably not quite right.

Is it always going to be used all together or will that shield device be used on its own? If so you might want to make the 'R' more distiguished, as on its own its not strong enough.

I like the bottom half more so than I do the top half. I think you might be able to fine tune a thing or two on the bottom: perhaps close the space in the R just slightly. I'm talking one or two points, and nothing more.

The top, however, seems "off." I'm not sure exactly why, but it just seems that way. Perhaps it's the way you've "cropped" the R, or the size of the R or something. I would continue to move the R around up top and find the optimal size and placement.

If I'd paid you for that job, I'd be pretty damn pleased with the result. It's quite identifiable as a logo and keeps the colour to a minimum. Result.

Now you just need to add the iWeb reflection effect below it (just kidding)

Overall you did a great job, it's nice & clean, and it looks like it would work very well in B&W and other applications as it's only got a subtle gradient and no drop shadows or reflections.

However just to knit-pic a bit, I line up the bottom point off the emblem with the top of the A and I'd also move the emblem and the words a bit closer together.

But that's to minor details, good job.

I think this is well done,
the only thing I might comment on is ...you have applied a gradient to the shield which implies a 3D effect, thats fine but you have just "dropped out" the R from a 3D shield and if that is what you intended, fine, it's your choice,
but I fine it a bit cinfusing, go 3D or don't go 3D!
The person that said aline the shield and the first line has a point too.
But very well done, nice type, nice classic feel!

Same here. The R/Shied needs some slight tweaks. Otherwise great job!
