I am about to finally place the order for an iMac. More than likely, it will be the 2.4 20" model. However, I stopped by the Apple store and attempted to run some of my favorite software on the iMacs there. When I tried to run RealMyst, it crashed right away and would never load. I have been able to run this on a macbook as well as a mini, with no issues. Has anyone had any similar success or failure using this program on the iMacs? While it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, I would sure be disappointed if it would not run on them. Thanks in advance.

The failure of that software to run isn't because of imac vs mini or macbook. It's a software problem. The imac likely had a different operating system than what you've been using.
