Hello all.

I am hoping someone can help me find a decent ultrawide monitor that will only use the one port to display and charge at the same time.

A couple of months ago I bought my wife a 13 inch Macbook Pro since her work was switching from PCs to Apple. She loves the laptop but she needs a little more real estate when shes working at home. She does not work with video or photos so she does not need a fancy 4/5K monitor. She mostly works with reports and other hospital programs.

Are there any reasonably priced ultrawide monitors that I can purchase for her that will also charge the laptop so it will be just a one plug operation?

Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.

Following to see what ideas you get.

I had 3x 1080p dell monitors. I bought a cal digit tb3 dock so 2 monitors would be displayed over 1 cable & charge and 3rd monitor on a single cable.

Then went triple 4K ultra fine, and now just dual. Considered getting different monitors to just plug directly into dock and have 1 cable for dual monitors. Ultrawide seems nice but with the high res request i was looking for for more screen space, wasn’t sure if it was worth it over dual / triple monitors
