Here's mine:

Despite the lack of 3G and full Flash support, I'm going to buy the iPhone because the web browser ROCKS compared to my current phone's (8525), syncing contacts will be more of a breeze with my MBP and if there's a hardware issue, I can probably get help at the Apple store PLUS they added YOU TUBE!!! Woo-hoo! :p
 
despite spending a lot of money + an unknown amount per month i am buying the iphone because it has APPLE in front of its name
 
Despite the lack of 3G, I will buy the iPhone because it is so damn cool looking and offers many state of the art features. I think it will be a hit with all who purchase except the doomsday and naysayers that try to take the joy out of anything. Get some therapy.:eek: :p :eek:
 
Despite my wallet hurting right now, plus knowing that they will probably add different colors soon, I am buying an iPhone because my current phone sucks...badly.
 
Depsite the lack of 3G, I'm going to buy the iPhone. If it was any other phone from any other manufacturer it would have to be 3G or I wouldn't even consider it. However, I have a Sony Ericsson T637 which is about to fall apart, an expired contract with Cingular and everything is perfectly aligned for me to get this phone, including a day off from work I wasn't counting on.

I mean, I have no choice but to get this phone.

So because your phone is breaking you have to buy the iPhone. Not some other phone? It has to be the iPhone. That makes so much sense.
 
Despite the outrageous price, lack of "real" 3rd party app support immediately, potential to get scratched up on every surface, and a potentially exorbitantly expensive data/rate plan, I'm going to get an iPhone BECAUSE I love the design, I love the size, I love the easy to use software and eye candy, I love it being tightly and perfectly integrated with my Mac, and I LOVE the ability to browse the full, real web on my phone anywhere.

Makes sense to me. I absolutely hate my blackjack. I need a new phone. The current iPhone is the best phone/iPod out there right now. Maybe not as nice as a 3G iPhone with an SDK. But, alas, that phone doesn't exist. So next Friday, since I'm in the market for a phone anyway, I'll be buying the best phone that is available now.

Truth is, I really need a new phone today but it would be silly to buy a phone just a week before the iPhone.

:rolleyes: I was being sarcastic... I do need a new phone, it doesn't need to be an iPhone, but I want to be an iPhone.
 
Despite _its lack of 3G and chat app_ I'm going to buy the iPhone because _i'm tired of my current phone and can't wait for the insane level of integration it will provide with my computers_.
 
3G doesn't work anywhere near me, so thats an ok thing not to have
I barley use MMS
I can live w/o flash
someone already made an AIM app so that takes care of that

so as of now, no drawbacks for me
