Hello all,

I, like most people I presume, are getting ready for the 3G release this Friday. I've been bookmarking usefull apps, iPhone tips and tricks, etc. to use once I get my iPhone.

About a week ago I came across an app that would convert emails to text messages and you could receive and view them as text messages rather than in an email browser or the Mail app on the iPhone. When I read this in my RSS reader (Vienna) I never thought to bookmark it because I didn't think I would use it, but now I realize how valuable it would be for those of us who aren't getting a Data Plan.

I spent an hour last night searching through my RSS feeds for this application as well as doing a lot of 'googling' and even searched this forum to see if anyone has mentioned it before.

I cannot remember the name of the app, but does anyone know of an application like this which you have come across?

I would like to add it to my bookmark list to install when I get the iPhone. :)

Thanks,
Matt

Yes, that's the program I was looking for. Thank you.

However, it's not working the way I wanted it too.

Do you know anyone other similar programs?

I did a bit more digging and found this website. It didnt say "free" anywhere, and I didnt go through the registration process, so I dont know whether or not its a free service. It seems to work in about the same way as the TeleFlip service, so I dont know if youll have too much luck with this one either. I'll do some more research...

EDIT:
I don't know if you're a Windows user or, more specifically, an Outlook user, but I know Outlook has mobile settings than will automatically forward email to cellphones.

Thanks for the Reply,

I use windows just for certain applications, but nothing doing with Microsoft Outlook.

The website you provided, as you said does not say anything about being free, so I'll assume it is either a demo, or a paid service.

I guess I'll just have to do some more searching, or accept that I won't be able to find specifically what I'm looking for.

Thanks again,
Matt
