iPad Received codes not detected by keyboard

Hey everyone,

You know how when you get a code to access your bank account or some other type of account, your keyboard recognizes the code and gives you quick access to the code you just received? Well, It is still working on my iPhone, but for some reason it stopped working on my iPad. Do y’all know how I can fix this?

Sometimes it seems like I have to tap the code field a couple of times to get the numbers from Messages.

I recently started using the iPadOS verification code generator, and to get that code notification, I have to tap the turn off keyboard button (on my Logitech Combo Touch) to trigger the soft keyboard and then tap in the code window.

Is your iPad on 15.0.2?
