After I updated my iPhone 6 from iOS 9.3.5 to iOS 10.3.3, the "recently deleted" photos album went missing and never came back, this is still the case with my new iPhone 8 running iOS 11.1.1 (which I restored from a backup of my iPhone 6).

Another problem on my iPhone 6 which seemed to persist on the new iphone 8 is that some third party apps can't "see" my photos, they show a blank page saying "No photos or videos", however in the privacy settings, these apps were not shown to have requested access to photos, therefore I don't see the toggle to allow access.

My iPad running 10.3.3 doesn't have any of these problems.

Anyone else having similar problems?

I believe updating it to iOS 11.1.2 will fix that. When I got my iPhone X, my whole iCloud photos were missing. When I updated, they all came back.
