iPhone Recently Sent SMS [Group] Contacts - How to clear

iOS 13 GM on wife's phone, and since updating to the GM, if she goes to send a text, it's pulling up a history I guess of who she has had group text messages with. I can't seem to find a way to "remove" I guess, this suggestion (used to be able to click an "i" icon and it'd give you an option to clear recent contacts) but it doesn't seem to work in iOS 13. Anyone know how to fix? Thanks.

Yeah this drives me crazy. Don’t think there’s a way to delete the groups. Frustrating.

Same here. Used to be able to clear them. Also all were cleared before update.

I didnt know their was a solution for this on iOS 12. darn it... hoping this comes back in iOS 13.2... im on 13.1 and its not available..

Yeah...it's pretty annoying. Don't know why they took the option away.

Mine are not just new ones - old ones that I had cleared out in 12 are back. So many of them.
