Recently used app switcher driving me mad!

I'm sure i'm the only one and i'll eventually get used to it, but being right-handed it is not as intuitive to me as it would be if the home screen slid left and the apps appeared on the right where my thumb is on the phone. Wish it was a toggle option to adjust the slide of the cards but i cant get my head to adjust to this admittedly petty nitpick!

An option would be nice. But being right handed I haven't really found it awkward or hard to use personally. Closing the apps seems to be a quicker action as well.

I am sure this is something that will be implemented. Utilize the feedback app!!! Little things like this are why Apple opened up PB's!

I don’t really like the UI change to begin with, I see no particular reason why it had to change. Google introduced a similar interface last year and it has not resonated with most. To me it feels more like an attempt to make a pretty interface rather than something functional. Skeuomorphism, anyone?

I imagine it's a better interface when using multitasking on iPad Air 2.

In split-screen mode, it's the left pane that gets that particular 'recently used' view (the right pane gets the up-down view). Thus, seeing all the apps piled at the one side is a better use of screen space than the spread-out iOS 8 multitasking view. Secondly, if the 'recently used' apps swiped in from the right, they'd appear to be swiping in next to the right-hand app. It seems it's better to make it appear like the apps are moving in from the edge of the iPad than from the right-side app, and have the line between the two halves solid.

I'm right-handed and use my device that way but I don't really notice it being an issue compared to prior versions
