After upgrading to High Sierra from Yosemite all of the "To" references in Mail have changed. My prior name was listed as Thomas Hill and now all the emails show up as addressed to Thomas E. Hill. This is the name of my son who is one of my recipients.

I have gone into System Preferences>Internet Accounts and changed my name in Google to Thomas R. Hill. I have done the same in Mail>Preferences>Accounts. Nothing has changed. In addition to the emails in my inbox, all the emails saved "On My Mac" are changed too. There, saved emails to and from my son show the same name. This tells me that the problem is probably with Apple and not Gmail.

Any ideas or things I may have missed? Thanks

I didn't think of Contacts.app as I have an Android phone. When I got in there, my own card was OK but I had two entries for my son. There were several entries of my information which when I placed the cursor on them said something like "Found by Siri" On my son's contact card was not only my email address but also my physical address and phone number. The entries had an option to Ignore which made them go away. My email is back to normal. It seems like this is another example of Apple thinking they know how to organize my life better than I know. I want to kill this Siri person. :) Thanks for the help.
