Hey, can anyone recommend a really good RTS which will run natively on a late 2008 intel MBP.
If it's an MMORTS I don't mind either.
Preferably I'd like to run it without rosetta or a cider port, but if it apparently runs well I don't mind ;).
Good graphics are preferable, but gameplay is very important too.
In my mind I'm considering Warcraft 3, StarCraft, AoE series etc. Any input would be great.

Thanks

Warcraft III without a doubt
AoE3 is OK
and when Rome Total War comes (sorry for dragging it up again) there is no excuse not to buy it :)

Age of Empires 3 is fantastic if you are into history and micro management base building - both expansion packs are available for the mac too, so there is a lot of content available.

The games looks unbelievable on my 27" C2D

Warcraft 3 is fun too

There are demos for both I think so try them out first.

I will vote again for Warcraft 3. It is very fun and I still play it. Whenever StarCraft 2 is released, im sure it will be great and should run on your computer. But I don't think it is until 2010

To me, the best RTS games are the Total War series games; Rome: Total War in particular. Which may or may not be released for Mac in a couple of months. Keep an eye out for it; amazing gameplay and extremely tactical.

Total War:Midevil was the best RTs I ever played. It's the first of the Total War series.
