.... for my 44mm AW. I know there's probably plenty of these threads already.

I have searched through pages and pages on Amazon without finding one with reliable good reviews.

I'm after the least intrustive protector as possible, with no overhang onto the edges of the screen.

Open to hearing of glass (preferable) and film protectors.

Ive been using these on my AWS4 .. You cant tell its installed! Ive tried a lot of them, these seem to work the best for me. I did try a glass one and it always catches your finger when you swipe. Good Luck!

Got these... Although I have just realised you typed Armorsuit int he search but it bought up LK branded ones.

I've got one fitted to my watch - THe first one went a bit wrong. Better fit second time round.

I think I will keep it on, it's pretty much perfectly central but a couple of the corners are very slightly overhanging - and when I say slightly, I mean 0.1mm's worth. It's enough for me to notice and possibly enough to catch dust.

Caught one of the corners of the watch on my jumper and it pulled the protector off where it was overhanging.

Fit another, still the same. Sending these back and it’s back to the drawing board

Anyone know if there’s a 44mm glass protector out there without the black border?

I use Zagg. There's an installer in my local mall that does a great job. It does need to be replaced every 6-8 months. ($10) but for me its worth it giving my work environment. I swim (not laps), take a shower etc and its fine.

I got these today.

A million times better than the LK wet application protectors and best of all, you cannot see or feel it once it’s on. Really easy to apply and not get bubbles in it.

I have tried a few different brands of protectors and all of them peel off at some point, always on or near the corners. I have not found one that doesn't. What I have found leads to the longest life of any of them is to carefully follow the instructions. Sounds simple enough right? The other thing with the wet applications, let them cure for a longer than recommended time before wearing works best. I have had 6-8 months of life before there is any sign of lifting and at that point I'm usually replacing for clarity sake. The ones I have on my watches now have been on for maybe 3 months and neither are lifting yet.

The ones you linked look interesting, I'll be curious to see your feedback on them.

Regarding glass, all of the ones I've seen have had the border so your S4 or 5 ends up having the same screen size as the S3. Between that and the fact that none of them fit flush against the sides of the screen you don't want to go that route. Unless there are manufacturers who are making these with better tolerances, I think the film type is going to be your best solution for a most precise fit and edge to edge screen coverage.

I always use the glass screen protectors with loca uv glue, but with my own loca glue from ebay. The result is always perfect. Its like the original glass. The only problem is that you have to protect all holes and clean them before curing the glue with uv light.

I bought some cheap ones on aliexpress for my 4-44, since one year the first on the screen and still no off peeling. I do sports every day including swimming and showering.
Neverever would use any kind of glue on my AW or i-devices on the screens.
