100 dollar budget to spend on an SSD for my mac mini as a boot drive. Can you guys recommend something good for me? I'd appreciate it.

With ssd's you get what you pay for. I just got the 80gb intel gen 2
ssd and am about to install it in 30 mins. I would save up another 130$
and get one for your mini. Go mow some lawns or something. : )
It's worth it.

But if you do insist on something nice, maybe the intel 40gb one for
139$ or however much it is. Just save up.
Gen2.

Bacong, what's the point of buying a ssd if you get a low-end ssd for your mini

it is already a "slow" machine, what you can do best to boost it, is upgrading it with a good ssd

save some money and get a good one like an Intel Postville
