Hi guys

Anyone care to name your favorite hard drive addition to your Mac Pro? I'm looking more for storage drive recommendations, not so much the 10k Raptor boot drives. Popular ones seems to be:

1) Western Digital SE16 WD5000AAKS

2) Western Digital RE2 WD5000YS

Thoughts on these? Additional recommends?

I have nothing bad to say about the WD SATA drives. I own a WD5000AAKS (plus 3 WD2500KS). Seagates are noisy (relatively speaking). Given a choice between a noisier drive with a 5 year warranty and a quieter one with a 3 year warranty, I'd always go with the latter. If you get a lemon, it will die long before 3 years are up.

Samsung Spinpoint T166 are the best I've come across so far.

Tried a lot of Seagates, but T166s are the most quiet drives.
