I have been using an iOttie dash mount for my iPhone 8 Plus. Recently I decided to buy an wallet case, which makes my iPhone too thick to fit in to the iOttie mount.
Does anyone know any dash mounts that have longer "arms" that can accommodate the thicker cases like this?
Mine measures almost 2cm thick with the wallet case on.
Because of the way my car is designed vent-mounts really don't work. There is quite a lip, or shelf, right below the vents.

Thanks.

If you have a CD player slot in your car, I just purchased an MPOW brand one on eBay for $7 that is awesome. Should work with the bigger case too

Check out proclip. The best mounts you can buy. Not cheap, but worth it.

I second that. ProClips are probably the best dash mounts you can get. They have adjustable holders that should fit your phone in a wallet case.

Looking at the ProClips site the only holders I see say they will hold a case up to 10mm. My case with cards and cash is nearly 20mm.

I’m probably going to dump the case and go back to carrying a wallet.

I guess in that case, it depends. They can fit phones with cases thicker than 10mm, but there are grooves on the inner surfaces of the "arms" that guide the phone in so the dock connector plugs in. If you got one of their holders that does not have the lightning cable attachment it will probably work.
