Hi,
I have been using Journal Pro for Windows Mobile for many years.
It is a fairly simplistic Diary program where i can log my daily events and look back over the days/months/years.
I would love to have something simular for the iphone as i now will not be carrying my windows mobile device with me.
Making small notes on your daily activities in a Journal format is much easier on the move, as you always have 5-10 minutes to spare in the day, but are not often around a hardcopy diary or a Standalone computer.
Ideally it would be able to backup to my iMac as my iPhone has required restoring once already and i lost all the info i had entered into other programs.

So any suggestions or a Diary/Journal program or something that can handle the same functionality?

Thanks in advance.

If you don't mind paying there is idb and idb lite

I use it it's logbook for tracking things like daily exercise and what i've eaten, but it also has checklists, notes, diary, todo's, accounts and credit card sections.

Since it has all of the above I also use it's checklists for shopping and essential holiday items list. I use notes for just general info and have some of my credit card details in it.

It's password protected and you can get it to backup to any machine, the backup comes out as 1 big csv file.

One thing I hope they change quickly is that it clicks on each action at the moment, but as a workaround I just put the phone on silent when I'm using that app.

The lite version only lets you create a limited number of each db type.

Looks interesting

Thanks for the tip, that looks pretty good.
Maybe a bit overkill for what i need, but I will probably give it a go.

Thanks again.
