I need to connect a 7g iPod Nano to a portable speaker with a 30-pin connector. I gather I need an adapter cable that also has an audio-out jack. I've looked at the various cables on Amazon like this one. I don't see any with glowing recommendations.

Who has gotten an adapter cable for a 7g Nano that they're happy with? Thanks.

Here's another option. You could use a 30 pin Bluetooth adapter that connects to your stereo. Then what you do is stream from your nano to your speaker using Bluetooth. Just have to make sure that the adapter is compatible with your speaker.

Check out what Cablejive offers. None of these work quite like we might wish, but they have options that will work.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm picking up a BT adapter and will report back here once I've tried it out.
