Hi,

I’m looking for a power bank that I can take on a plane to recharge my 12.9 iPad Pro at least once over a 24 hour journey

All suggestions welcome
 
I am by no means an expert, but I found a great deal on one last year & bought an Aukey 20000mAh Power Bank with lightning & Micro inputs.

Iv'e been very happy with it. I like that I can charge it using my lighting port, so I don't have to carry a Micro USB cable. I got it for $17, and it's back up to $32 on Amazon now. It's a little on the heavy side, but it holds a lot of charge relative to the other power banks I've used before. All in all, I'd recommend it, but I don't have a ton of experience with other similar devices to compare against.

Look at products from Anker and RAVPower on Amazon - good brands. You should get something with at least 10,000 mAh capacity (but keep in mind that greater capacity = greater size & weight). If you want to spend the money, you can get a unit with fast-charge capabilities, like this:
