Recommendations for mac mini server - drobo build

I currently have custom WHS server with hackintosh core i7 8gb Mac Pro/Windows 7 build. I am going to sell that and simplify everything. My idea is to buy the mac mini server and a drobo. Is it possible to setup a raid 1 with both 500gb drives and use bootcamp to dualboot with windows? Also, if I connect the drobo to mac mini with FW 800 will I be able to to access the files on windows as well? I doubt because I dont think pc can use FW so how else would I be able to access files when I boot windows.

Right now I have the nvidia 3d vision and would like to connect it to the mac mini which will work but will the mac mini be able to play 3d blu ray with the core 2 duo 2.66ghz? Is there any external blu ray drives that can connect to mac mini?

1. Yep you can set it up as RAID 1 and dual boot

2. You can create an SMB share for the drobo drives - just share them on the mini server

3. Not sure about it but I think you can find a blu-ray that will work on the Windows side. Not sure about the mac side. Might want to check on the Apple TV section. They would know more there

If I run windows in bootcamp on mini then osx server wont be running so how would I acces files on smb?

With a Drobo, you have to create volumes out of the disks, each volume can be formatted with whatever file system you want. This varies by model on how to do it the right way.

Why not just make the Core i7 your dedicated home theater/server PC? Windows has options for Blu-ray that Apple doesn't. Personally, I'd stick with a stand-alone Blu-ray player (or PS3) for 3D Blu-ray duty.
