Been doing some searching online about a good USB hub for my new MacBook M1 Pro and haven't been able to decide on 1. One I've seen referenced fairly often was one of the Anker ones.

I know there were some reports of the USB adapters messing up new MacBooks so I'm wondering which people have been using a while with no issues as well.

Also if it makes a difference I use it for electronic music and connect 3 USB ports generally for two midi controllers and an audio interface.

Thanks

The Anker 341 USB-C Hub has got the 3 USB ports you need. Great company, great price at $35.

If money is no object, the Caldigit TB4 element hub will handle anything you throw at it. 4 x high powered USB A ports + 4 x 15 watt USB C / Thunderbolt ports. Definitely overkill but certainly the most capable. I need the Thunderbolt port on mine but having also used it with USB devices, I can say that this hub has the most capable / compatible USB ports of any hub / dock I’ve used.

Thank you. I'm looking to go a bit lower budget so I think I will likely go with the Anker.

Here’s a couple more hubs that are within your budget offering 3-4 USB C ports with 5 and 10 Gb connections.

This has A 5Gb connection with 4 ports and is only $40

This has a 10Gb connection with up to 100w USB pass through power delivery. This one costs $60.
