I'm looking to buy a 4k monitor for my 2012 Mac Pro (2.66 12 Core), currently using a Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 and running Mojave. What 4k monitors would you recommend for use with this machine, that pair well with it? I will be using it for video editing mainly. Thanks.

I like my 40" 4k Samsung TV... $280, maybe not the most accurate but for my recording studio needs, perfectly adequate. I love the real estate when creating and editing music. And, when I'm scoring to picture, clients love seeing their video on the "big screen".

If you go with a TV, put it in "Game" mode for a responsive display.

Thanks DPUser. Which model do you have? Do you just connect it via a HDMI cable and it runs without issue?

Depending on your budget, BenQ have a new 32" 4k display coming out very soon, that sounds pretty impressive: SW321C.
