Im just wondering if anyone has put one on their 10.5. If so how is the sensitivity or should I not even put one.

I only use screen protectors on my iPhones simply because, phones tend to suffer more abuse. They are kept in pockets, are exposed to elements more often (concrete floors) etc. I use my iPad at home and have a silicone back case and a Smart Keyboard which protects the screen. I don’t carry my iPad around outside and when using outside I tend to sit, or place the iPad on a table, which heavily reduces the risk of me dropping it. I simply think the risk of you scratching an iPad screen are significantly smaller than scratching an iPhone screen.

Stay away from Mr. Shield for now. They are cut a hair too big and the home button doesn't align quite right. I'm awaiting a reply from them about if I can get mine replaced.

They don't affect sensitivity at all. I would definitely recommend getting a screen protector. The glass scratches quite easy on past iPad. Especially if you are going to use some type of front cover. Just one tiny piece of silica dust get in the inside of the cover and it will scratch your screen like hell.

Yeah I take care of my stuff pretty good. I have a case on it. I ordered it as soon as I placed my order for the iPad. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get insurance especially when it's costing 900$+

I use Zagg on my iPad Air 2, but Anker on my 7Plus. I am a huge fan of Anker screen protectors. Good quality, cheap price, fantastic warranty. I believe Anker just announced their 10.5" Pro protector on Amazon. Might be worth a look. If my Zagg on my Air 2 was to crack, I would go Anker.

Keep in mind that any screen protector you put on the iPad will immediately kill the improved anti-glare properties of it.

This is true. I had one on 9.7 Pro and could immediately tell the difference in glare. However, I was fine with the trade off for the extra screen protection.
