It's a thread on the same topic. So, rather than starting a whole new thread, the OP might just wanna post in there.
Nope, just voluntary. Rather than just telling the OP to "search, there are already other threads on this topic", I did what the Forum Rules suggest and just linked to a previous thread.
How to record calls on iPhone:
1. Be in call with person
2. Hit the button to add a call (the +)
3. Type in your phone number
4. It will go strait to voicemail
5. Once you here the beep, it will start recording
6. When you hang up the call, you will get a voicemail of your recording

Great. And what is the other person doing while you are faffing about with this?
It's handy to know if someone is giving you info and you can ask them to hold while you do it.I had a great app on my Nokia N95 that would sit in the background and record incomming and outgoing calls. I used to leave it on and record everything. You don't ALWAYS know when you need to record something. Often it's too late to start dialing your own number etc etc.
There must be an app somewhere that can do this. Obviously it would be for JB phones only.
Is it a hardware limitation of the iPhone that is stopping people doing this? I would gladly pay for an app for this.
On my N95 after 12 months of recording all calls it hardly made a dent on my 4gb (no comments about having no friends please), so 32gb isn't going to feel a thing.
