Record my Ps3 Through my iMac 27" please help!!

OK basically i have an iMac 27" connected to my ps3 with the kanex xd, mini usb display to hdmi converter basically. I was wondering is there anyway of me recording my imac's screen whilst i play my ps3, ive tried like screenium etc but every time i switch to the ps3, pressing command f2 its stops the video, please help!!! thank you

It is an expensive option at £79.99 but Roxio have a product called Game Capture.

Guessing you were hoping for some mac software?

I downloaded an app called screen flow for free. works perfectly for everything displayed on the screen(s).

Your iMac is being used as a monitor, and like a monitor it isn't processing the video, just displaying it. I'm unaware of anything that can capture video coming IN to the iMac via the DisplayPort. See:

Kanex says it's not possible as well, although they seem to hint that it's just a legal issue:

You'll have to find some other hardware solution.
