Recording from Xbox 360 to iMac

Hey guys, I've been trying to work out how to record me playing my xbox (or anything on tv) into a digital format on my iMac (specs in sig) so I can create a montage or just do stupid stuff... as you do, aslo for some general interest in video editing.
I'd rather still to play from the TV...


What do I need to get to do this? Is it possible?

I use a Miglia Directors Cut Scart, it captures in DV format and works great.

Although you would have to pay quite a bit more to get somthing that would capture the componant HD 360 signal - you would only be able to record the composite SD signal on most capturing devices available, prices are around the £200 mark.

You can use the Elgato EyeTV EZ to play your games on your Mac.

Seems like a decent option to me, although a touch expensive ($150).
