Recording Video w/QT Pro

I've got a crazy thing happening. I can't figure it out. Unless it is Hardware depentant. If I use my old G4 Tower, My 1Ghz TiBook, or my Pismo Powerbook, QT Pro states that it will capture video at 240x180, but when I connect the same miniDV cam to my new 1.67ghz Powerbook it states it will capture at 320x240.

I'm puzzled. I need a fix. Anybody got any suggestions?
