Recording with screen off? Possible

Hello!

I wonder if it's possible to record with your iphone screen off?
I want to take a very long timelapse and with the screen on, the batterylife is much shorter.

So.. is there any way to do this?

You could manually set the screen brightness to minimum during the timelapse, then revert to normal afterward.
