My computer crashed, and while I see there are programs to restore the music from an iPhone, I don't see one to recover the apps, which I would like to get back without having to download and pay for again? Do any of you "geniuses" have any ideas. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Well if you did a back up of your computer once you restore from that everything should be there. Also with Apps once you buy them you can download them as many time as you like on device that are under your itunes account.
If you lost all the music on your computer you should download Senuti (if you have Mac), and that will help you rip all the music off the phone and to the computer. And also if you just plug in your phone to iTunes you should be able to right-click on the iPhone on the sidebar and click "Transfer Purchases". Hope I helped.
